Phillips Collection partners with designer Roger Thomas for 2013 line

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Roger ThomasPhillips Collection announced the launch of a licensed collection with acclaimed hotel and furniture designer Roger Thomas. Phillips Collection will expand the current offerings of The Roger Thomas Collection, which includes signature designs of mirrors, furniture, carpet, green sustainable lighting and outdoor furnishings.

"We couldn't be more excited about working with a designer as iconic as Roger," said Mark Phillips, president and CEO, Phillips Collection. "He not only brings a sophistication and cache to the table but he also will further elevate our design position."

"We have great expectations for The Roger Thomas Collection, which we will be debuting in 2013," said Jason Phillips, VP and creative director, Phillips Collection. "While these are the earliest stages of the process, I can share that we are working on some extraordinary sculptural forms, wall décor, vessels and containers, and accessories for indoor and outdoor settings."

Roger Thomas is best known for his iconic interiors at the Bellagio, Wynn Las Vegas, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, Wynn Macau and Encore Macau. He has been recognized for his design achievements and honored multiple times as an Architectural Digest's AD 100, International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show Designer of the Year (2008) and elected to the Hospitality Design Platinum Circle (2005). Thomas serves as a Trustee of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA).

The Roger Thomas Collection includes signature designs and products for APF Master Framemakers, Boyd Lighting, Edward Ferrell + Lewis Mittman, Fromental, Rocky Mountain Hardware, Samuel and Sons Passementerie, Townsend Leather, Veneman, Koroseal, S. Harris, Maya Romanoff, SICIS and now Phillips Collection.
