Wyndham Championship Golf Clinic presented by Sunbrella set for Tuesday

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Wyndham Championship golf clinic, presented by Sunbrella, is set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14 at the Grandover Resort practice range. The 73rd annual Wyndham Championship takes place Aug. 13-19.

Designed for adults and children alike, the golf clinic is an annual tradition during the Piedmont Triad's PGA Tour event. PGA Tour golfers will be on hand to serve as instructors at this year's clinic at Grandover Resort.

Wyndham is hosting this clinic in conjunction with The First Tee of the Triad to promote the PGA of America's "Get Golf Ready" program, designed to teach beginner golfers everything they need to know about the game in just five lessons. The First Tee of the Triad will run the clinic, and junior golfers participating in the clinic will receive a free T-shirt. This clinic is free of charge and open to the general public.

Contested annually on the Donald Ross-designed course at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., the Wyndham Championship was founded in 1938 and is the seventh-oldest event on the PGA Tour.
