Get grilling with Weber's free app for iPhone and iPod Touch

World of Weber Grills now available on the go

PALATINE, Ill. - Weber-Stephen Products, a leading manufacturer of charcoal and gas grills, grilling accessories and other outdoor room products, announced the release of its first free app for iPhone and iPod touch, Weber Grills, which includes mouth-watering content previously available only at Weber.com.
"Everything grillers love about Weber and Weber.com is now right at their fingertips," said Brooke Jones, director of marketing for Weber-Stephen Products LLC. "We are excited to provide Weber fans with instant access to such a wide range of information - from grill features, to grilling classes and much more."
The Weber Grills App is a must-have for anyone in the market for a new grill. The Grill Gallery provides a portal to lift the lid on Weber's top-selling grills. Whether it's a showpiece gas grill perfect for the outdoor room; or a charcoal grill for those who like to roll up their sleeves and play with fire, the Grill Gallery allows users to examine grill features and functions and determine the right grill for them. In addition, each grill comes with a list of accessories to maximize versatility and use. Also, a handy dealer locator helps buyers pinpoint a dealer in their area.
The new app also comes with a subscription to Weber's popular Recipe of the Week program. Each Friday, a new, inspirational recipe - like Baby Back Ribs with Pomegranate Cherry Glaze - is delivered automatically to users. Weber takes it a step further by providing a convenient shopping list that allows users to check off ingredients as they shop. For those who like to add their own flair to any recipe, the handy notes feature provides a place to jot down thoughts. In addition, preferred recipes can be added to a special section of "go to" favorites.
The Weber Grills App also provides a sneak peek into Weber Nation, an online community for Weber devotees to share grilling stories, upload photos, have access to recipes and submit questions to Weber's resident grilling expert and blogger, Kevin Kolman. At Kevin's Corner, Kolman tackles a wide range of grilling subjects, including Grill Cleaning, Gas Grill Maintenance, Winter Grilling, Preventing Flare-Ups and much more.
The Weber Grills App also includes a Prep School section - perfect for those looking to earn an "A" on their next grilled feast. Prep School takes grillers on a quick tutorial, complete with photos, of some of the most asked-about grilling subjects. Grillers will find everything from a breakdown of different cuts of red meat, to step-by-step instruction on preparing and seasoning pork tenderloin.
Weber's Grill Skills section is another educational journey through the world of grilling. Grill Skills features a series of courses and video tutorials to help any griller master the basics of grilling on a gas or a charcoal grill. Videos range from simply starting a gas grill correctly to setting up a two-zone fire on a charcoal grill. In addition, a Basic Instruction section features a series of short videos to help users master some of the most popular foods to grill-ranging from Grilling Strip Steaks to Grilling a Whole Chicken.
The Weber Grills App is available for free from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.
