NORTH VENICE, Fla. —
Tervis' Hello Kitty Collection
Insulated drinkware manufacturer Tervis has teamed up with Sanrio's Hello Kitty brand for a new collection featuring the global pop icon. The new line was introduced in July at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.
"We are honored to partner with such a popular brand," said Kathy Greif, Tervis marketing director. "Both the Tervis and Hello Kitty brands resonate with a range of consumers and focus on fun. We are excited to bring the collection to our customers and to introduce Tervis to the Hello Kitty fan base."
Hello Kitty has been charming her way into the hearts of fans worldwide for nearly 40 years with a product offering that ranges from school supplies and stationery to fashion accessories and electronics.
The new Hello Kitty collection will be available in four wrap-around designs in Tervis' 10-ounce, 10-ounce wavy and 16-ounce sizes and come with coordinating pink lids.
Tervis also recently entered a license agreement with Harley-Davidson.
"Our customers have been asking for Harley-Davidson products for years," said Rich Kaplan, Tervis president of sales and marketing and chief brand officer. "Both Harley and Tervis are lifestyle brands that are known for delivering high quality products to an extremely loyal fan base. This is a partnership that makes sense on many levels."
Tervis drinkware keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. The insulated products are made in America and are virtually unbreakable, as well as microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
The Hello Kitty collection retails for $19, and the Harley-Davidson collection retails for $16-20.
"Tervis is consistently number one in the insulated drinkware category," said Joyce Muffoletto, category manager-general merchandise at Harley-Davidson. "The brand is fun, free-spirited and truly speaks to the personality of the Harley enthusiast. We are thrilled to be associated with Tervis and look forward to a long future with the company."
