High Point Premarket to feature 61 exhibitors

HIGH POINT, N.C. — Next month's Premarket here will have at least 61 exhibiting companies open their doors for the fall High Point Market's preview event.

Premarket will take place for the first time on a Thursday and Friday, Sept. 13-14.

The High Point Market Authority reports that the event has 21 exhibiting sponsors and 40 non-sponsors have said they will open their doors for the event.

Set about a month before the fall High Point Market, which runs Oct. 13-18, Premarket gives manufacturers and importers a chance to show new product prototypes in advance of the main show.

Premarket previously has taken place on a Monday and Tuesday.

Building sponsors for Premarket include 220 Elm and IMC Cos., the owner of the International Home Furnishings Center, Showplace, Market Square and related High Point properties.
