DALTON, Ga. — Oriental Weavers, a manufacturer of indoor and outdoor rugs, will host a "Take a Bite Out of the Big Apple" themed grand opening party for the company's new showroom at the New York Home Fashions Market from 4-7 p.m. Sept. 10.
The new space is located on the seventh floor of the 295 Fifth Ave. Textile Building, suite 719.
To celebrate the opening of the new showroom, Oriental Weavers will give away iPads, iTouches and other Apple products every 30 minutes during the party and will serve signature "Big Appletinis," cocktails, wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres.
Oriental Weavers will also offer lunch each day and a wine and cheese tasting each evening beginning at 4 p.m.
The new showroom is almost double the size of Oriental Weavers' previous space, with more than 10,000 square feet to showcase machine-woven, printed, and handcrafted accent and area rugs, broadloom, Axminster, rug pads and all other product segments for the company.
The new showroom will incorporate Oriental Weavers USA, Sphinx by Oriental Weavers and the OW Hospitality division.
And to Marc again. I learned how to make axminster carpet 25 years ago, and myself and a strong team of guys have trained our workforce to understand ax carpet, through every process. We not only have the background, we also have cutting edge technology in our state of the art machines.

Anyone under the age of 16, would never get past the security gates on entrance to the factory in the first instance. Secondly, the owners of the company have built numerous schools, a university, and three hospitals in our local area. Please be more accurate in the future if you wish to comment.
Howard Cropper - 2012-08-30 22:53:43 EDTIts nice to see this company appearing like an american company, while the truth is they are employing child labour, cheating the US tax system by price transfer, cheating their customers and clients by reducing the specifications in their rugs! Good luck to them!
