Teters Floral Products restructures to focus on growth areas

BOLIVAR, Mo. — Teters Floral Products, Inc., and its divisions Napa Home and Garden and Sage & Co., and its subsidiary, The Creative Connection Limited, announced a range of restructuring activities.

"These restructuring efforts are intended to focus the business on key growth areas while maintaining the excellent level of service and quality that has been our hallmark for more than 50 years," said Warren Z. Mazer, Teters president and CEO.

As the company pursues growth opportunities with its Napa Home and Garden and Sage & Co. brands, it has reduced a number of internal positions to ensure its resources are allocated appropriately.

"We are pivoting the organization, keeping one foot firmly in our core business, yet creating greater flexibility to meet the demands of the market," Mazer said.

Teters announced the move and expansion of the Napa Home and Garden flagship showroom to the 12th floor of AmericasMart Building 2 in Atlanta. According to a company press release, this will be the largest showroom ever for Napa, which will celebrate the grand opening of its new showroom in January 2013.

In addition, Sage & Co. will release its new 2013 catalog in the coming weeks. The new Sage & Co. catalog will focus on everyday and spring items for 2013, and will include the best-selling, CorEvents collection, which offers a range of products designed with event planners, caterers and boutique hotels in mind.

"These are two great examples of how we are focusing both on growth areas and on our core business," Mazer said. "We are excited about the new opportunities ahead of us."
