MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Summer Classics and Frontgate have partnered to create an exclusive new Summer Classics/Frontgate Web store that will allow customers the opportunity to buy the entire line of Summer Classics outdoor furnishings online.
Frontgate, a leading multichannel luxury brand retailer, along with Summer Classics' cutting edge designs and materials, have combined forces for Summer Classics' first full line Web store.
"For over a decade, Summer Classics and Frontgate have been working together," said Bew White, president and CEO of Summer Classics. "Our new web store will be a great way to share Summer Classics' complete line of products with people who've never experienced them before."
Summer Classics and Frontgate are committed to offering an online shopping experience unlike any other.
Chris, I can't agree more. It definitely feels like Summer Classics just said they don't need the retailers, funny how this happened after market and after the orders have mostly been placed.
Anne - 2012-10-05 17:29:15 EDTWell it looks like Summer Classics won't be needing the brick and mortar stores anymore, or better yet, we won't be needing them, as we will become a showroom for Frontgate. (Kind of like Best Buy is the showroom for Amazon) They already have the no sales tax advantage. It will be interesting to see if the consumer will spend $5-10K on a patio set they can't sit in before they purchase....Better yet, who will do the warranty work?
