Housewarmings Outdoor wins Merchandising Excellence honor

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Housewarmings Outdoor reported a strong showing at the 2012 International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market, culminating in a Merchandising Excellence award win for its showroom display.

The outdoor furniture and accessories manufacturer, which specializes in complete outdoor rooms, displayed a host of new products in its showroom at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

Housewarmings Outdoor's booth put the full outdoor room experience on display, including 2013 additions such as the Urban Island Collection, featuring sleek curves, honed granite counter tops and a raised bar with lighting. The Urban Firepit, with its small benches, granite finish and under table lighting, was one of the most popular items, according to a company press release.

Other 2013 collections featured in the showroom included the island, bar, pergola and fireplace from the Tuscan Collection and the island, water features and fire pit tables with benches from the Alcove Collection.
