Candy Chase
BALDWIN PARK, Calif. -- Shade products manufacturer Treasure Garden has appointed Candy Chase as its national sales manager, the company announced.
Chase's experience in the casual industry began in 1999 when she became the purchasing manager for California Backyard in Sacramento. During her tenure there she bought and merchandised the patio furniture and barbecue divisions. In addition, Chase helped plan, design and execute weekly advertisements and special event inserts.
In 2004, Chase joined Emigh Hardware, also in Sacramento, as sales manager and buyer for the Casual Living store. Her responsibilities included the placement and design of all inserts, catalogs and direct mail advertising. She also successfully helped manage and train a team of sales associates.
She moved to Scottsdale, Ariz. in November 2007 as the senior buyer for Paddock Pools and Spas. Working in conjunction with the retail sales team and the industry vendor base, Chase successfully increased the business every year in her category. In 2009 she was appointed as a board member for the Casual Classics buying group and has served on the design committee.
Chase will be joining the Treasure Garden team in November of this year.
