Groovystuff adds second High Point showroom

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 10/4/2012 12:02:25 PM

DALLAS -- Reclaimed teakwood furnishings manufacturer Groovystuff will open a second showroom at the High Point Market, Oct. 13-18.

The new 1,300-sq.-ft. space is located on the fifth floor of the Commerce & Design building in suite 5L. The company's primary showroom is located in space G-1025 in the Suites at Market Square.

"We are thrilled to partner with Groovystuff and its university collaborative furniture, lighting and home décor product line," said Becky Minton, director of sales and leasing, C&D building. "Groovystuff is a fantastic addition to our stellar line-up of premier home furnishings and accessories exhibitors that call C&D home."

"We listened to what is most important to our buyers at market, and the upscale clientele who shop the C&D Building in High Point will give us an audience with a distinguished class of purchasers and a broader reach for our brand," Groovystuff founder Chris Bruning said.

The new Groovystuff showroom in the C&D Building will showcase the company's new and existing sustainably-produced products.

Groovystuff will also highlight products designed by college students participating in its university program at "The University Hall of Innovation & Job Creation." The sponsored space in the Suites at Market Square showroom 1-836 provides students with networking opportunities and a platform on which to build on their association with the industry prior to graduation.

Participating universities include Appalachian State University, The Art Institute of Las Vegas, Auburn University, University of Georgia, University of Idaho, University of North Carolina - Greensboro, Purdue University, KMITL in Bangkok Thailand, and soon to be launched programs from Columbia College, The University of Southern Illinois and N.C. State.
