SARASOTA, Fla. - Outdoor furniture manufacturer Casual Creations has signed an exclusive product and distribution agreement with EcoSmart Surface and Coating Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Renewable Corporation.

The agreement grants Casual Creations the right to use EcoSmart products for the outdoor furniture market.

"Utilizing the revolutionary EcoSmart system allows us to expand our existing line to offer unique designs on glass currently unavailable in the marketplace," said Arthur James Jr., president of Casual Creations.

"According to Global Industry Analysts, Inc., the outdoor furniture market is expected to exceed $4.4 billion by 2015," said Gary Smith, CEO of The Renewable Corporation. "Partnering with Casual Creations offers an excellent opportunity by allowing us to expand the EcoSmart product line into previously untapped markets."

Casual Creations launched five innovative styles of coated glass at its open house in Sarasota, Fla., as well as at the International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market last month.

"This is just the beginning of what is coming," James said. "Additional designs, colors and styles will be available soon. These cutting edge technology and innovative designs will be offered at extremely competitive price points and will catapult Casual Creations to the forefront of the industry."

The company also recently attained its Made in the USA Certified seal of certification. Made in the USA Certified is a third party, independent certification company for the "Made in USA" claim.

Casual Creations underwent a full supply chain audit by an independent team which verified that "all or virtually all of the core components" of the certified product lines were manufactured or originated in the United States, and the company meets or exceeds the Federal Trade Commission requirements to apply the "Made in USA" label.

According to a press release, Casual Creations supports the Buy American Act of 1933, and 100% of its product assembly was verified as conducted in the United States.
