Source Outdoor hires Lyle Ecoff to lead western expansion

MIAMI - Source Outdoor Furniture Company announced it will be investing in a distribution center and sales office in California in the coming weeks. The company also hired Lyle Ecoff to lead its growth in the western United States.
Ecoff was most recently a vice president of Carls Patio and ran the retailer's West Coast stores.
"California and the states in the West have been part of our strategic growth plan for a while," said Gerald Shvartsman, CEO and owner of Source Outdoor. "Hiring an industry veteran like Lyle makes it easier to accomplish our penetration goals. Source Outdoor has made tremendous strides in both the hospitality and retail channels on the East Coast and I'm excited to expand to the West Coast and uncover all of its opportunities."
Source Outdoor President Jim Levine said, "Lyle and I and have worked together very well in the past and part of my and Gerald's plan continues to be tapping into people who have an accomplished track record in our industry."
