Treasure Garden celebrates two ICFA awards plus showroom honor

Marks third consecutive and eighth overall honor as leading shade manufacturer

BALDWIN PARK, Calif - Treasure Garden was honored to receive the 2012 Manufacturer Leadership Award in the Shade Products category for the third consecutive year at the International Furniture and Accessories Market in Chicago.

This represents the eighth time overall that Treasure Garden has accepted this award for its quality of manufactured goods, design and exceptional customer service. "This was all made possible by the support and relationships with our dealers," said Margaret Chang, chief operating officer, Treasure Garden. "Without them, this award could not have been possible. Treasure Garden expresses gratitude to all who helped contribute to this distinguished honor."

On Monday, Oct. 8, Treasure Garden shared the multiple honors and recognition received by holding a luncheon for the employees at the company's Baldwin Park operations. The celebration included balloon decorations, food and drink, and the acknowledgement of the team effort required for the awards garnered.

"Every department made a contribution to Treasure Garden receiving the awards," said Jeff B. Dorough, VP of sales and marketing. "It was a joy to share the great news with the rest of the team."

In addition to the Manufacturer Leadership Award, Treasure Garden received the 2012 Permanent Showroom of the Year Award. The award recognized Treasure Garden's ongoing commitment of time and effort to the presentation of its 10,000-sq.-ft. showroom within Chicago's Merchandise Mart. On display throughout the showroom were the company's latest product introdutions as well as the latest in fabric trends and merchandising ideas.

"We are very happy and thrilled our showroom was recognized this year. We really strive to set the trends in shade for the industry," Dorough said.
