Caldera Spas launches new interactive Web, mobile tools

At the heart of the new website is a focus on health and wellness, encouraging visitors to embrace lifestyle choices, like hot tub use, that can improve quality of life, according to a company release.

The new CalderaSpas.com offers simplified navigation, a contemporary design and "best of class" tools including a dealer locator, spa models comparison and in-depth product information. New interactive applications allow shoppers to virtually select, view and design their spa, even exploring yard and patio options for their own home.

Interactive features include a three-dimensional deck design tool, a 360-degree spa viewer for each model, schematics for landscape design and a color selector application that allows visitors to mix and match shell and cabinet colors.

The "Caldera Voices" section offers a collection of reviews, ratings and stories submitted by Caldera hot tub owners, allowing visitors to enter into the conversation of spa ownership.

Caldera deck designA deck design tool on the new Caldera Spas website allows visitors to design the complete environment surrounding their hot tub."Caldera Spas are engineered and designed to create an optimum user experience in every detail. The Caldera website was crafted with that same care," said Shelly Roberts, brand manager for Caldera Spas. "Yes, it's very technology-forward, but every feature is there to provide visitors an experience that reflects the experience they will have with a new Caldera Spa. It has everything but water."

Launching with the website is Caldera Spas' new blog, "20-Minute Renewal," containing short articles about how small lifestyle changes can make a big improvement in the quality of one's life. Exercise, pain relief, relaxation and nutrition are among the topics addressed in the blog.

CalderaSpas.com is fully optimized for mobile devices including smartphones and tablet computers. Mobile shoppers who enable geo-location services can immediately access their local dealer address and useful information such as product reviews. The mobile site is also accessible by scanning QR codes on product displays in dealer showrooms, providing ratings, reviews and color selection at the point of purchase.

"It wasn't long ago that the idea of shopping online for a large, personal care product like a hot tub was unexpected," Roberts said. "But we know that the relationship we have with tomorrow's Caldera owners will likely begin online. The new site makes that initial connection positive, helpful and inspirational."

The site contains more than a half dozen connection "gateways" to help shoppers begin a conversation with local retailers.

"A hot tub isn't simply a centerpiece for backyard entertainment anymore. Many of today's owners use their Caldera Spa as part of their regular routine to support a healthy lifestyle," Roberts said. "And we believe the new website will bring that experience to even more people."
