Cast Classics temporarily closing offices to repair Hurricane Sandy damage

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 11/16/2012 2:09:48 PM

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Outdoor furniture and accessories manufacturer Cast Classics announced it is closing its Lyndhurst, N.J. facility in order to repair the damage Hurricane Sandy inflicted on the building.

"In order to minimize business interruption, we are closing during the week of Thanksgiving" said Al Arad, president of Cast Classics. "We plan to re-open our offices on Nov. 26. Once the work on the office area is completed, we will then move our cushion production facility and start renovations on that area as well as renovations to our warehouse area.

"We are doing this in stages and expect minimal interruption to our business," Arad said.

During the time the office is closed (Nov. 16-25), customers can contact their sales representatives for assistance.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their support during this time of rebuilding," Arad said. "I would also like to thank our team that worked tirelessly in order to assure business interruptions are kept to a minimum."
