Studio M and Genevieve Gail to launch miniature gardening collection

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 11/29/2012 10:03:33 AM

Studio MST. LOUIS -- Studio M, the new home and garden division of Magnet Works Ltd., announced it has partnered with artist Genevieve Gail to launch a new miniature gardening collection called Gypsy Garden. The collection includes garden-inspired miniature furniture, birdhouses, garden creatures and more in a distinctive gypsy caravan style.

Gypsy Garden is one of four artist-driven collections of artful home and garden products included in Magnet Works' new Studio M division, which will debut at the gift and home trade markets this winter.

"Our product research shows miniature gardening is a fast-growing trend nationwide," said Anne Brown, director of product development. "Genevieve's collection adds a new twist of vibrant color and art into the category that will help it transition well from garden centers into gift stores."

Gypsy Garden was inspired by Gail's love for the outdoors, entertaining and creating stylish personal spaces.

"The miniature garden pieces were designed to add color and fun to smaller spaces such as container gardens and planters," Gail said. "The more unexpected, the better! Whether you're repurposing your grandmother's dresser drawer or up-cycling an old bicycle basket, there are items in this collection for you."

Magnet Works will debut Studio M and the Gypsy Garden collection at the Atlanta and Dallas markets in January, but retailers can sign up for previews and updates at www.magnetworks.com/studio-m.
