Three Coins Cast customizing furniture for disabled veterans

Joins efforts with Purple Heart Homes

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 12/14/2012 2:00:10 PM

NEWNAN, Ga. - After a family trip to Normandy on Thanksgiving Day, Three Coins Cast owner Susanna Powell decided to show her gratitude for the U.S. military in a material way. Teaming up with Purple Heart Homes of Statesville, N.C., Three Coins will customize and donate furniture for wheelchair bound Veterans.

three-coins-casting-w.jpg"Many Americans in uniform have sacrificed their lives for our freedom, and many others return with their lives, but having lost a limb or with paralysis," Powell said. "Every American owes a debt of gratitude to the military for their sacrifices, and Purple Heart Homes offers a way for our business to help outfit accessible living spaces for disabled veterans."

Purple Heart Homes, offering quality of life solutions for American veterans, was founded by Dale Beatty and John Gallina, both severely wounded while serving in Iraq. Three Coins Cast supports this organization made up of both volunteers and professionals in their efforts to provide Veterans with "injury specific and barrier free living spaces."

Three Coins Cast continues to support the American Cancer Society and Georgia Transplant Foundation.
