The Rug Market America to debut expanded space, new lines in Atlanta

Medalla by The Rug Market AmericaLOS ANGELES - The Rug Market America will debut an expanded showroom space at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Accessories Market this month, and will launch several new home décor lines including decorative pillows, high end furniture, gifts, candles and accessories.

"For 2013, we are again focusing on the trade shows that are sound investments in reaching our retail partners," said Mike Shabtai, founder and owner of The Rug Market America. "We have expanded our space in Atlanta to illustrate the direction we are taking to connect with our customer base and to grow our business. We are excited to provide great exposure in a new location in Building 1, Floor 12 - showroom B-8, which places The Rug Market America alongside all the best accessory lines in the industry."

The new showroom will enable The Rug Market America's sales team to better present their expanded product lines and home décor collections, according to a press release. More than 100 new items will debut including a complementary high end pillow line and a new accessory line for indoor and outdoor living styles.

The new collections of rugs to be showcased at the Atlanta market will include designs encompassing lifestyles and trends tailored to The Rug Market's customer base, as well as styles of furniture and colors consumers have been purchasing for their homes over the past eight years, the release states.

The luxurious Maison Social and Maison Luxe collections are geared toward a sophisticated pallet with modern designs, while the Ecconox and Resort lines have bright new colors and designs aimed at an expanding clientele. Natural fibers with silk-screened patterns and solids have been incorporated into the outdoor collection as The Rug Market sees a movement toward natural fibers. Additionally, bright colors in fun patterns along with collections reminiscent of the eastern seaboard will be on display in Atlanta and at upcoming markets.

Following the winter Atlanta show, The Rug Market America's show schedule for 2013 will include the spring and fall High Point Markets as well as the Dallas Total Home & Gift Market, the New York International Gift Fair and the summer Atlanta market in July.
