Casual Living Conference to honor Treasure Garden, Today's Patio

Event set for Feb. 20-22 in Tucson, Ariz.

The Casual Living conference will be held Feb. 20-22 at the Westin La Paloma in Tucson, Ariz.HIGH POINT - Treasure Garden, manufacturer of shade umbrellas and accessories, will be honored as the Supplier of the Year at the second annual Casual Living Conference, set for Feb. 20-22 at The Westin La Paloma in Tucson, Ariz.

Today's Patio, the Arizona-based, six-store retailer, will be recognized as the Retailer of the Year.

The Casual Living Conference's awards ceremony will pay tribute to those who take their companies and the industry to a new level through creativity, innovation, and decisive and bold actions.

The event's agenda, titled "Outer Spaces: Expanding the Universe for the Outdoor Room," includes keynote speaker Neil Dempster, vice president and founding partner of Clearview Performance Systems, who will present, "If You're Not Living on the Edge, You're Taking up Too Much Space! How to Stand Out in a Sea of Sameness!"

Barbara Crowhurst, CEO of Retail Makeover and an internationally recognized professional retail speaker and trainer, is also one of the headliners. Touted as North America's top retail coach, Crowhurst will present "How to Fine Tune Your Business Plan for 2013." She will reveal useful tips and strategies - and one resounding message to those in the casual outdoor furniture business: Effective retail is in the detail.

Brian Offenberger, founder and president of Right On-No Bull Marketing and an Internet marketing expert, will present "11 Best Marketing Practices Separating Rich Retailers From Poor Retailers," offering advice he says is both easy to implement and won't cost much money.

"This is one of the most popular keynote addresses that I give because people go back to their hotel rooms with things that work right away," he said. "There is no extra money needed to do many of these things and no special expertise needed. I give companies things they can use right now."
