Groovystuff launching discount program, new collections at Las Vegas Market

Casual Living Staff -- Casual Living, 1/18/2013 11:01:21 AM

Groovystuff stoolDALLAS - Reclaimed and sustainable home furnishings manufacturer Groovystuff is unveiling a new product discounting program for retailers and contract buyers attending the Las Vegas Market, to be held Jan. 28-Feb. 1.

The company will also debut a new line of eco-friendly consumer products with The Moonshine Collection. In addition, there will be a drawing for a Warner Music Group prize package for market attendees participating in the University Popular Vote at Market design challenge with Columbia College and The University of Southern Illinois - Carbondale.

Market attendees will be the first to see The Moonshine Collection, an array of more than 50 furniture, lighting and home décor products from the Chris Bruning Signature Series.

"The Moonshine Collection is the next trend in sustainable home furniture, lighting and home décor that add a dash of color to the neutral palette of reclaimed materials found on the market today," said Chris Bruning, Groovystuff founder.

From brilliant blues to various shades of red, orange, yellow and green, each piece meets the latest consumer demand for sustainable products with a more vibrant flair. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the Groovystuff reclaimed steel drum Moonshine Collection includes furniture, home decor, lighting, bars, bar tables and chairs, wall decor and mirrors.

Groovystuff tableSteel drums are still used in many parts of the world, and when these barrels reach the end of their lifecycle, Groovystuff reclaims them and transforms them into furniture, lighting and home décor, a company press release states.

Groovystuff will also be launching a new Volume Discount Buyers Program. The new program gives retailers deeper mark-down pricing with single item purchases in addition to a zero minimum for contract and designer professionals.

"The timing of the new Groovystuff Discount Buyer Program for 2013 coupled with the launch of The Moonshine Collection couldn't be better," Bruning said.

Launched for Las Vegas Market attendees only, the Groovystuff Discount Buyer Program applies a discount for stocking purchase orders, quantity purchases, and container/truck load direct shipments. Financing through Lyon Credit is also available.

Las Vegas market attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in The Groovystuff by Design: Connecting Education with Industry Challenge by casting their vote for "The Most Marketable Product" from Columbia College and the University of Southern Illinois - Carbondale. As a sponsor of the contest, Warner Music Group will be giving away a Led Zeppelin "Celebration Day" prize package that includes the book, Light and Shade: Conversations with Jimmy Page. The WMG price package also includes "a two-hour DVD of the reunion concert that is nothing short of a two hour plus tour de force of the band's signature blues-infused rock ‘n' roll that instantly became part of the legend of Led Zeppelin," the release states.
