Pride Family Brands announces sponsorship at Casual Living conference

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Pride Family Brands, an award-winning manufacturer of luxury casual furnishings, has announced its event sponsorship during the 2013 Casual Living conference.

Designed as a vehicle for the outdoor living segment to come together for education and networking, the conference is in its second year and will take place Feb. 20-22 at the Westin La Paloma in Tucson, Ariz.

The 2013 conference, "Outer Spaces: Expanding the Universe for the Outdoor Room," will include social and educational functions designed specifically for retailers, designers, representatives and manufacturers within the specialty outdoor living industry. All breaks within the educational sessions throughout the conference will be sponsored by Pride Family Brands.

"Pride has chosen again to support what is becoming a much anticipated event given to improve knowledge and associations within the casual and outdoor category," said Steve Lowsky, president, Pride Family Brands. "This conference creates a platform to come together to learn from educational sessions as well as from each other."

Sponsors of the conference include the International Casual Furnishings Association and other industry manufacturers. Seminar topics have been selected to focus on timely subjects of interest to all within the outdoor category.
The keynote address for this year's conference will be given by Neil Dempster, VP and founding partner of Clearview Performance Systems, who will present, "If You're Not Living on the Edge, You're Taking up Too Much Space! How to Stand Out in a Sea of Sameness!"

Barbara Crowhurst, CEO of Retail Makeover and an internationally recognized professional retail speaker and trainer is also a headliner and will talk on business planning. Brian Offenberger, founder and president of Right On-No Bull Marketing and an Internet marketing expert, has been tapped to speak on best marketing practices for specialty retailers.

Additional speakers and panels will cover business, financing, retail and merchandising topics facing the outdoor industry today. Golf, a neighboring retail store tour and an awards dinner honoring supplier and retailer of the year completes the conference events.
