Couristan promotes Codella to executive VP of sales

Steve CodellaSteve CodellaFORT LEE, N.J. - Couristan, Inc., a leading manufacturer and importer of indoor and outdoor area rugs, residential broadloom and custom contract carpeting, has promoted Steve Codella to executive vice president of sales.

Codella, who has been in the floorcovering industry for more than 30 years, joined Couristan in 2000 as eastern regional sales manager, then advanced to senior vice president of sales before taking on his new role. During his time at Couristan, Codella has "assisted in building a versatile and highly skillful sales force and has consistently contributed to the growth of accounts on all levels," a company press release states. Codella will continue to oversee all residential sales and the strategic advancement of accounts across North America.

"Steve has been an indispensable part of Couristan's executive management team for over 12 years, contributing to the growth and development of our residential sales division," said Ron Couri, president and CEO of Couristan. "As executive vice president of sales, we are confident that he will continue to showcase his leadership to bring our division to new heights and help achieve our sales objectives."

"I am thrilled about the new opportunity the Couri family has offered me," Codella said. "My goals are to continue strengthening our residential sales organization, maximizing our sales opportunities across the country and providing unparalleled customer service to our customers. I look forward to taking on the challenges this new role will present me with."

This announcement comes in tandem with the recent appointment of Len Andolino as vice president of residential broadloom sales. Working as a team, Andolino will be reporting to Codella, whose main focus will be on area rug sales.
