IPSP Expo awards Best New and Best Green Products

DALLAS - From a selection of more than 96 products displayed in the Product Showcase at the 2012 International Pool | Spa | Patio Expo [PSP], a panel of industry experts awarded Best New Product and Best Green Product to first, second and third place winners.

Sponsored by AQUASALT, the Product Showcase is a pavilion where attendees can see, try and compare the latest and unique new, cool and green products. The judges selected the winners based on innovation, productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Aqua Sun Ozone, based in Palm Springs, Calif., was awarded Best New Product for its Savior 5000 floating, submersible, portable, solar pool pump and filtration system. Capturing second place was Solaxx, headquartered in Delray Beach, Fla., for its Harmony and Salt Dip water treatment solution. Third place wasawarded to Myron L Co, headquartered in Carlsbad, Calif., for the Ultrapen series of water quality applications.

SNTech, based in Phoenix, Ariz., was awarded Best Green Product for its Infinity 2.8 VS pool pump motor. Capturing second place was Filter Flosser, based in Gilbert, Ariz., for its Power Pic pool filter cleaning device. Third place was awarded to ecoONE, headquartered in Kenosha, Wis., for the ecoONE spa treatment system.

"We had such an impressive slate of products for the judges to choose from this year," said Lindsay Roberts, group director of the Expo. "Our congratulations go out to all six award winners for their innovative, creative and fresh designs."
