A new “shop furniture” feature lets consumers purchase items online via Furnitureland South’s website.
JAMESTOWN, N.C. - Retailer Furnitureland South has launched online sales on its website.
The Top 100 company said the ability to buy its discounted furniture and accessories online comes after a successful beta testing period.
"Traditionally a brick-and-mortar home furnishings retailer, Furnitureland South understands that the shopping habits of those in the market for furniture are changing," Pat Watkins, FLS director of marketing, said in a release. More and more people are pricing and shopping for furniture online, he said.
"With more than 500 manufacturing partners and a low price guarantee, Furnitureland South is bringing its buying power and selection to those beyond store reach," he said.
Susie Nester, e-commerce manager, said the launch "is just the beginning" for the retailer, noting that the company's online product offering is growing with the addition of new suppliers, categories and styles.
Customers shopping online are encouraged to contact a design consultant for space planning, color coordination, fabric selection and other full-service, free design help.
"In addition, furnishings are delivered with unmatched care and professionalism by Furnitureland South's in-house, white glove delivery team," the company said.
