Popular color-driven merchandising concept adds Essentials Basics

TULSA, Okla. - IMAX Worldwide Home is expanding its best-selling Essentials by Connie concept to include Essentials Basics at the summer markets.
This "modern design made easy" merchandising concept is a collaboration between IMAX Worldwide Home and leading retail strategist Connie Post.
"I am very excited about the newest addition to the Essentials program," Post said. "I feel that expanding the concept beyond just current fashion colors to include basic combinations will prove to be a winner for retailers also."
The first introductions of Essential Basics will be a black and white along with a rich beige and white combination. This new addition will utilize the same designs as the fashion collection introduced at the beginning of this year.
"These collections were designed with the customer in mind - sometimes people love color but aren't comfortable living with it," said Post.
Essentials Basics is all about great design around classic colors that will appeal to many. An added bonus of the new Basic colors is that retailers and consumers are provided with all the tools to mix and match with colors from the fashion collection for an even wider range of looks.
As with each of the Essentials by Connie collections, coordinating Sherwin-Williams paints are identified to make it easy for consumers to complete a room.
