Shuford Mills offers six more colors

Shuford Mills has introduced six new colors in the 8-ounce furniture weight version of its high-performance Outdura fabric.

"We expect Kona (dark brown), Spa (blue-gray), Ivory, Canary, Olive and Paprika to be well received by manufacturers of casual furniture, cushions and umbrellas," said Jeff Jimison of Shuford Mills.

Introduced in 2000, Outdura fabric now is available in dozens of colors and weaves that are guaranteed to maintain vibrancy and durability through years of sun, wind and rain. Coordinating jacquards and stripes also are available for casual furniture manufacturers. Stain-resistant, water-repellant, Outdura provides UV protection and mildew resistance.

Hickory, N.C.-based Shuford produces and sells 100% solution-dyed woven acrylic fabric, which is also available in 8.25-ounce weight for the marine fabrication and awning industries.
