Many innovative designs will be showcased next month at Chicago's International Casual Furniture & Accessories Market. Most will compete for the Design Excellence Awards, a top honor for manufacturers and their designers in the casual industry. In the past, products were honored in nine categories, but, due to major growth within the category, this year will mark the first for the Outdoor Lighting category. From the 10 category winners, one design is awarded the Lillian B. Winchester Best of Show Award. Everyone is invited to the market Welcome Party at 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 18, where winners will be announced. If you can't make it, stay tuned for the winners in Casual Living's October issue.
