Las Vegas Furniture Show sets dates for new market

The Las Vegas Furniture Show's first market will be held in the Sands Expo Center July 19-21, 2005. The show will offer temporary showroom space.

Organizers said the event has been under discussion and in development since early last year after a group of furniture manufacturers gathered to discuss the opportunities Vegas will offer the furniture industry beginning in 2005. At the same time, the Sands Expo Center administration was exploring the possibility of developing a furniture event of its own and had discussed the idea with several national trade show producers.

The show is being produced by Triad Expositions.
