Hanley Wood Exhibitions will launch the Backyard Living Expo, an annual tradeshow and conference, which will be held with the International Pool & Spa Expo.

The all-inclusive industry event will debut Nov. 1–3, 2005, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Offering a range of product categories — from barbecue grills and casual furniture to decking, fencing and landscape products — the Backyard Living Expo will have a dedicated exhibit area of 25,000 net square feet.

Fifty-two percent of the 2003 International Pool & Spa Expo attendees expressed interest in backyard living products, specifically barbecues/hearth, decking, fencing, gazebos/enclosures, hammocks, landscaping, lighting, outdoor furniture, toys and games.

"With the significant growth of the pool, spa and backyard living industries, the colocation of these events make perfect sense," said Rick McConnell, senior show director.
