Agio International has appointed Dan Hofkamp as its Chicago showroom manager. Hofkamp will be responsible for managing activities in the expanded showroom and facilitating meetings and shows throughout the year. He also will work closely with Doug Peppler, Agio's vice president of sales, and assist the sales and marketing team in special projects both in and out of the Merchandise Mart.

Homecrest added Mike Ham to its sales representative team. Ham, a native of San Diego, Calif., will represent the Southern California/Southern Nevada territory previously assigned to Linda Roof, who has retired after 37 years.

Telescope Casual Furniture has appointed Marty Berk as its sales representative in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Western and Southern Massachusetts. Berk has 23 years of industry experience, most recently with Brown Jordan International. Berk is filling a position vacated by John Kiepler, a 24-year Telescope veteran, who has retired.

Brown Jordan International presented Miles Fenn with its 2003–2004 Brown Jordan Earl V. Hughes Award for Outstanding Sales. Don Thomas was named 2003–2004 Winston Co-Rep of the Year; Bob Snyder, 2003–2004 Winston Co-Rep of the Year; and Dave Razor, 2003–2004 BJI Alliance Rep of the Year.

These annual awards recognize outstanding sales representatives as determined by superior sales, customer service and personal character. They were presented during the Casual Market in Chicago.

Babs Blair was promoted as director of leasing for the World Market Center in Las Vegas, while Julie Schwartz was hired as leasing manager. Blair is responsible for overseeing the leasing team, leasing new phases and contributing to strategic design and planning for future buildings and markets. Schwartz previously worked at the Dallas Market Center, most recently as vice president of leasing for hard goods. Schwartz will work from a Dallas office, where she will share responsibility for leasing of WMC Phase Two, which will total 1.6 million square feet on 15 floors.
