Sunbrella Chenille receives ADEX award
Staff -- Casual Living, 4/1/2005
The Sunbrella Rose Chenille Collection received a platinum award in the ADEX Awards Competition, the largest awards program for product design of furniture, fixtures and finishes marketed to the design trade.
The chenille group represented Sunbrella's first foray into formal chenille fabrics for indoor and outdoor applications. Award-winning patterns included Rousseau, a large-scale neoclassic frame, along with its coordinating pattern, Shelley, which combines both Sunbrella boucle and chenille yarns for added surface interest. Also in the chenille entry was Cello, a solid chenille body cloth, and Chenillela, a pattern created by Joe Ruggiero for Sunbrella that combines flat yarns in a variety of rose shades with antique beige chenille for a ribbed effect.
