Carolina Mills division turns focus to outdoor market

Carolina Mills has added a resource to the outdoor market recently with its division, Carolina Specialty Fabrics, a producer of residential and contract grade upholstery fabrics. Carolina Specialty Fabrics now develops Outdoor Ensemble, a high performance line of fabrics targeting casual furniture manufacturers and the replacement cushion and umbrella trade.

Four collections debut within Outdoor Ensemble, two under the Natural Fiber Group, which combines UV- and mildew resistant solution-dyed acrylics combined with natural fibers like hemp and bamboo, and two with the Performance Fiber Group, designed with 100% solution-dyed acrylic and 100% olefin fibers.

Several new colors will be introduced to the market by Carolina Specialty Fabrics in Spring 2006.
