Record attendance at gift, area rug shows

History was made during the January 2007 Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings and Area Rug Markets as AmericasMart Atlanta hosted its largest market in its half-century history — more than 100,000 retailer and exhibitor customers strong.
      The first Market of 2007 brought together this unprecedented number of buyers and sellers in more than 2,000 permanent showrooms and 4,500 temporary booths — the largest number of temporary booths ever and featuring the Market debut of more than 500 new exhibiting companies — all in a single address and all at one time.
