National Hardware Show to occupy Las Vegas Convention Center in 2008
World of Home Enhancement fulfills retailers’ sourcing needs

The 63rd National Hardware Show, featuring Lawn & Garden World, Homewares and New Product World, will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center May 6-8, 2008, in response to manufacturers’ and retailers’ feedback.
The combined events will offer home channel retailers of all sizes a comprehensive preview of the entire home enhancement marketplace including outdoor living; hardlines; hand and power tools; paint and decor; plumbing; automotive; electrical/lighting; security/locks; power equipment; pet and wildlife products; cleaning products; home storage and organization; home, health & safety; decorative lighting; RTA furniture; personal care and gifts; cookware/bakeware; kitchen accessories and small appliances.
“The National Hardware Show is the only place to see the largest and latest home enhancement products and trends that are driving this industry – in one venue,” said Dennis MacDonald, senior vice president, the National Hardware Show. “We are pleased to be able to make it as easy as possible for home channel retailers to find the new and unique products that make them stand-out in their respective marketplaces.”
The 2008 NHS will bring back its most successful programming, special events and add new excitement. These include the return of the Open-to-Buy days, Golden Hammer Awards, retail merchandising awards, expansion of the Inventor’s Spotlight, New Product World (in both Lawn & Garden World and the Hardlines/paint & decor halls) and the “Hot Topics” seminar series. Plans for 2008 include an expanded international retailer program, exhibit areas and new exhibitor assistance programs.
Simultaneously, George Little Management’s The Gourmet Housewares Show; Global Home Textiles and Global Home Decor, will be held at the Sands Expo Convention Center.
