ITMA announces Showtime events
Showtime will be held June 1-4 in High Point, N.C.

The International Textile Market Association will host its semiannual Showtime fabric market from noon Sunday, June 1, through 5 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, in High Point, N.C.
Showtime typically attracts guests from more than 800 companies, primarily from the home furnishings industry, who come to view fabric introductions and place orders for decorative products from the mills, converters, tanneries and trimming manufacturers that are members of the ITMA.
“Showtime is where it starts,” ITMA Director Catherine Morsell said. “High Point Market is known worldwide as the place that sets the course for the home furnishings industry. At Showtime, those leaders begin their search for the right design to marry with their product. It’s what makes Showtime exciting.”
The Studio at Showtime will return each day in the Suites at Market Square, where more than a dozen textile design studios will exhibit original artwork and antique documents, used for product development.
Design Options, a California-based trend forecasting firm, will present “Fall/Winter 2009, the West Coast Perspective” at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3.
