Woodard returns to Merchandise Mart

Woodard will return to the Merchandise Mart in time for the upcoming Casual Market in September, according to announcements by the outdoor furniture manufacturer and Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc. The new Woodard showroom is part of Market Square, the new 15th floor design destination at The Merchandise Mart.

“We are very excited to have the opportunity to return to The Merchandise Mart,” said Dean Engelage, Woodard president. “The move should accelerate the recent growth experienced in our specialty, hospitality and designer business by allowing us to capitalize on the many resources and audiences The Merchandise Mart offers its tenants.”

The 11,000-sq.-ft. showroom, space 1534, will showcase the Woodard and Woodard Landgrave brands along with Craftmade ceiling fans and outdoor lighting. “As a member of the Craftmade family of companies, this allows Woodard to be a one-stop shop destination for the outdoor living space,” Engelage said.

Because of the increased consumer demand for casual furnishings and accessories to enhance their outdoor living spaces, MMPI recently expanded the casual industry at The Merchandise Mart. The expansion included adding casual showrooms to the 15th floor, welcoming seven new tenants and relocating many current showrooms in order to increase their space to showcase more collections.
