Motion provides an added feature in a chair or loveseat that appeals to consumers. In a value-driven economy like this one, every extra function counts. A variety of action-packed products premiered this fall and collections also were expanded to include motion pieces as well. Here are a few.
Palm Springs Rattan & Garden Classics has added motion seating to all its top seating collections, including Islamorada. This swivel rocker features 'snag-free' woven wicker over an aluminum welded frame that resists rust. Available in white, honey or a pecan glaze finish. A Design Excellence nominee, the Gloster Halifax deep seating swivel rocker lounge chair moves just about every way a person can move. It features a teak frame with a sling seat panel. The club chair rocker from Meadow Decor features an elegant scroll pattern throughout, but is highlighted on the back of the chair, also allowing the deep cushions to gracefully tie around the arms. Suncoast Furniture has added motion furniture to its six seating collections, including the deep seating Madrid Collection, which includes a leisure rocker The Divano motion chat from Homecrest Outdoor Living features a cream frame finish with paprika cushions and a Sundance pillow. The coffee table is also from the Divano Collection and has a Kenoran granite top.

The Momentum deep seating cushion collection from Telescope Casual features a motion system that allows its occupant to gently rock back and forth, yet the hidden system doesn't interrupt the clean, contemporary look of the collection.
