SunBriteTV offers 55-inch outdoor LCD TV

SunBriteTV, the pioneer in LCD televisions designed for outdoor installation, will showcase its new 55-inch Model 5510HD all-weather outdoor display at 2009 International Pool, Spa & Patio Expo, Nov. 16-18, in Las Vegas.
On display in booth #1908, model 5510HD will be available Nov. 1, with an expected MSRP of $7,195.
"With its larger 55-inch viewing screen and 1080p full-HD picture with 120 Hz refresh rate, Model 5510HD is a great product for pool and spa retailers who want to expand their business to include outdoor TV and video entertainment in backyards, patios and poolside installations,” says Lynn Stearn, SunBriteTV’s vice president of sales.
Model 5510HD is a 55-inch full-HD 1080p LCD TV engineered for permanent outdoor installation. The corrosion-resistant, powder-coated aluminum exterior protects the internal TV components from rain, dirt, insects and extreme weather conditions.
With the company’s proprietary Hex-Fan Airflow System, Model 5510HD remains cool and safe in temperatures up to 122º. In extremely cold climates, the internal thermostatically controlled heater activates automatically when the TV’s internal temperature dips to 32º F, and safely remains outdoors in temperatures as low as -24º F. With variable fan speed, controlled by the TVs internal thermostat, this system provides increased cooling as needed, therefore keeping fan noise to a minimum.
The 55-inch full-HD 1080p LCD screen displays a bright 1920 x 1080 pixel image with a 120 Hz refresh rate and delivers a 4000:1 contrast ratio. The anti-reflective, impact- and scratch-resistant window built into the exterior protects the LCD screen while reducing glare and improving picture quality.
SunBriteTV’s innovative watertight cable entry system and cable pass-through design ensures quick and easy hook-up to a wide selection of video inputs, including two HDMI connections, component, VGA, S-video, composite, RF, RS232 serial and the discreet IR control.
The TV is also equipped with a water-resistant detachable speaker module that can be removed when the TV is integrated with an external sound system.
SunBriteTV will also showcase the company’s entire family of all-weather outdoor TVs at the Pool and Spa Expo, that incorporates the equivalent environmental feature-set as Model 5510HD, including: Model 4610HD, a 46-inch full-HD 1080p LCD TV with detachable speaker module, that sells for $4,995 MSRP; Model 3220HD, a 32-inch HD LCD TV with detachable speaker module, that sells for $2,595 MSRP; Model 3230HD, a 32-inch HD LCD TV engineered with an outdoor-rated ASA plastic resin exterior and built-in speakers that sells for $2,095 MSRP; and Model 2310HD, a 23-inch HD LCD TV with built-in speakers, that sells for $1,895 MSRP.
SunBriteTV’s are shipped with a water-resistant remote control and one-year in-factory parts and labor warranty. A removable table top stand is included with Models 3220HD, 3230HD and 2310HD.
For optimum viewing, SunBriteTV offers optional ceiling mounts and articulating wall mounts that allow for horizontal extension, lateral rotation, tilt and swivel functions. For additional backyard placement choices, a deck/planter pole mount is also available. The pole can be set in concrete, a planter or bolted directly to a flat surface like a patio or pool deck. Pairing the TVs with the articulating mount gives users virtually unlimited viewing options. An optional removable tabletop stand is available for the 4610HD.
