Retailers can expand product offerings with no inventory investment

In order to provide the most innovative and efficient services to its customers, CBK, one of the country’s leading wholesalers of quality home decor, gifts and accessories, launched a new Consumer Drop Ship Program – CBKwik Ship.
The new program will allow CBK customers to compete more aggressively in a tough retail environment by allowing them to greatly expand product offerings with no inventory investment.
The CBKwik Ship Program supports any retailer who recognizes the “e-tail” channel growth in the retail landscape. Designed to be a complete and flexible tool for retailers with and without brick and mortar stores, CBK is leveraging its dominant and centrally located stocked warehouse inventory to provide rapid and accurate shipping support.
“CBK constantly strives to provide its customers with more efficient and innovative ways of managing their businesses and is proud to have the infrastructure and experience to carry a ground-breaking program such as this from preliminary thought through effortless reality,” said CBK President Terry Stewart.
The program works like this:
1.) CBK provides its customer with a file of item information and images to be loaded onto the customer’s retail site.
2.) A consumer browses the internet for an item and finds it on a CBK customer Web site.
3.) The CBK customer receives the order and sends it to CBK, which processes the order for shipping to the consumer and sends a shipping confirmation back to the customer. Order status can then be communicated with the consumer.
Updated information for the CBK customer to update its Web site can also be transmitted daily, weekly or monthly based on their individual needs and preference. CBK guarantees to have the product out the door and on its way to the consumer within four business days.
