Tervis Tumbler signs with Major League Baseball

Florida drinkware manufacturer Tervis Tumbler has been called up to the Major Leagues. The company has just signed a licensing agreement with Major League Baseball that allows it to include all MLB team logos within the walls of its celebrated tumblers.
“This is something our customers have been clamoring for, for a long time – after all, baseball is America’s favorite pastime,” said Laura Spencer, CEO. “We are extremely pleased to now be able to meet their requests. We already have a number of very successful licensing programs and we have been looking for other ways to expand our offerings for our wholesale customers, so MLB is one more major player to join our ranks and we are thrilled to be able to partner with such a great organization. We feel it complements our ever-growing sports collections in a big way.”
Tervis began making insulated tumblers in 1946 and the company has been growing strong ever since. The MLB line of tumblers now is available to qualified wholesale accounts – just in time for sports fans to enjoy the season with their favorite team. Retailers can view the collection in person at one of the upcoming trade shows or by contacting their sales representative.
On Friday, July 10, Tervis will be holding MLB Day in its showroom and temporary booth in AmericasMart during the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market – retailers should plan to stop by and join in the festivities.
