Looking Outward To Find Inner Peace
One of my favorite things to do is have lunch in my garden. It’s such a nice escape from my hectic schedule and gives me the chance to reflect on how blessed we are to live in sunny California.
I often find myself wandering off in thought (which ultimately leads to new exciting design ideas!) as I’m surrounded by nature and a comfortable sitting area, complete with ottomans and throw pillows for the ultimate relaxing experience. I cannot stress enough how important it is for all of us to create that special time in our day to get a little more centered and have a few minutes of silence to ourselves. Surrounding yourself with furnishings and fabrics that make you happy is just one element that can transform your outdoor experience. What design elements have you implemented that give you peace of mind?
