Did you ever notice that a stone, wood or tile floor are considerably cooler than a carpeted area or a spot with an area rug? Well the same concept exists in outside rooms and in your showrooms. Most people and most dealers set up patio furniture on concrete floors or areas outside. The simple addition of an area rug, one made especially for the outdoor environment will warm up and soften an outdoor room. Sunbrella has recently partnered with Colonial Mills to manufacture outdoor rugs made with recycled Sunbrella yarn, Capel Rugs also offers a huge variety of outdoor rugs in many different patterns and colors.
During these winter months, showcasing these rugs, and promoting these rugs will add a new dimension to your patio and casual living sales. We are always following the newest and latest trends, this is just one of them for you to embrace. Besides adding a level of sophistication and design, these rugs are great add on sales items and a reasonable accessory for the winter months.
If your customers tend to steer away from color in their furniture they can always add it in the area rug. Colonial Mills offers terrific colors that coordinate well with natural fabrics to add just the right amount of punch to the outdoor living environment. For those customers that do embrace color in their fabric there are coordinating rug colors to match existing Sunbrella fabrics.
These rugs come in a variety of shapes and sizes, so you can outfit all of your customers needs. If you have questions please email: mblake@outdoorinteriors.com
I have enjoyed an outdoor rug on my patio for the past few years.
