WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
While getting ready for the Spring International Conference for the Color Marketing Group, I have been searching for all of the things that inspire me when designing. It really does not matter whether you are designing a showroom, a vignette setting in a retail store, a table top setting or an outdoor living space, you will find that your inspiration comes from many places.
Your inspriation can come from nature, your family, your heritage, your travels, television, media, art, clothing and the books that you read.
Over the next several days I will be reporting to you on the very many different things that inspire people all over the world and across many different industries.
In the meantime, I realize that living in Southern California sometimes alters your sense of the world. We have been fortunate lately to be enjoying the wonders of spring and I have been writing to you about different ideas that will help you welcome spring into your lives. I thought when I planned to attend this conference that I would be enjoying spring in Montreal, but that is not the case. For those of you who have not yet been fortunate enough to be experiencing the joys of springtime, my sincerest apologies. For I now realize that there is a large portion of the Untied States that is still deep in the throws of winter. I will not be enjoying springtime in Montreal, the weather prediction is for snow 5 out of the 6 days that I will be there with highs in the 30's and lows in the teens.
These are my Outside Views write back and let me know what inspires you?
