Brown Jordan Partner's with Dealers

March 31, 2009

Just in time for spring, one of the Casual Living manufacturers, Brown Jordan, has authorized an unprecedented factory sale of 20% off on all BJ collections. During these unique and difficult economic times Brown Jordan has stepped up the the plate to offer their dealers assistance and a way to attract new and existing consumers.

Many dealers are taking advantage of this promotion and advertising it to their consumer base. Outdoor Elegance in Southern California, Today's Pool & Patio in Scottsdale, Arizona, Willis Furniture in Virginia Beach, Virginia, Bradley Fair in Wichita, Kansas, and Penn Furniture in Scranton, Pennsylvania have all partnered with Brown Jordan to promote this factory sale.

What better way to attract customers as the spring season kicks off than to creatively work together to offer the very best possible deal.

Manufacturers should be thinking outside the box and coming up with new ideas on how to generate and promote sales in the casual furniture industry. We are all in this together so working together makes perfect sense. This is a very effective form of co-branding.

Kudos to Brown Jordan for taking the initiative.

These are my outside views...write and tell me of other manufacturers who are also partnering with dealers to promote new sales this spring? Marcia Blake

DO NOT BUY BROWN JORDAN. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!
My aunt purchased $25,000 worth of their furniture. It has pitted and corroded during the first 7 years, BJ has acknowledged the furniture is in fact defective, but will NOT HONOR THE 15 YEAR WARRANTY, because we do not have the original sales receipt. The local dealer acknowledges the sale to herm but they too do not have the original paperwork after all these years.
So, on a technicality BJ has refused to honor it.
The Brown Jordan brand is a powerful one and I find it hard to believe they are sticking it to her in not honoring it. Why would anyone pay the premium price they command in the marketplace for furniture if they reneg on their warranty due to a technicality.
SHAME ON BROWN JORDAN!
