Tuuci & Disneyland: A Place Where Dreams Come True
August 18, 2008

I spent an entire day park hopping at Disneyland and California Adventure Park with my family on Saturday. We arrived early since the third weekend in August is a blackout day for pass holders, this means that it is a certainty that the park will be busy. One observation from my day is the fact that it is difficult to tell that there is any sort of economic downturn when you consider how many people enter the park on a single day, prepared to spend in excess of $100 per person when you include admission, food and souvenirs. A family of 4 will most likely spend well over $500 for the day.

Another observation that I was pleased to make was the amazing number of Tuuci umbrellas sprinkled throughout both parks. Waiting in line to ride the new Toy Story Midway Mania ride in California Adventure Park was approximately 30 minutes  but it was a pleasant experience since we were shaded throughout the long line under brand new Tuuci umbrellas.

Disney is not afraid of color and this was so noted when you see all of the various color of umbrellas at the different rides throughout both parks. When you consider that Disneyland is a happy colorful place, you might want to add more color to your store to try to create the same happy feeling that Disneyland imparts to all of the multitudes of visitors every day.

What color do you have in your store that creates a happy feeling?
