Product Reviews and New To Market…Beach Pocket Umbrellas

Are you looking for a marketing promotion for your store? How would you like to be able to offer your customers an environmentally friendly outdoor accessory that was voted the #1 Favorite Summer Gadget by the television show The View and was part of the Golden Globes celebrity gift basket?  The Beach Pockets umbrella is a fabulous accessory for the beach, park, picnic, or sporting event. It is easy to use, can withstand winds up to 20 miles per hour and best of all provides SPF sun protection of 50.

This past weekend, I had the opportunity to test out this umbrella for this product reviews blog. The sun was shining and the winds were strong but this umbrella stood up to the test. On any other visit to the beach I usually stand by and defer to my husband to set up the umbrella, but this past Saturday I decided to try my luck with the Beach Pockets umbrella.  This umbrella has 4 pockets that are attached to a barrel at the bottom of the pole for the sole purpose of filling with sand, books, magazines or water bottles to hold the umbrella in place. I had no trouble setting up the umbrella, it was easy to do. The umbrella is reasonably priced and can be used as a fun and unique marketing tool. Do you want to gain your customer’s attention? Then consider promoting this product to your customers as a unique environmentally friendly umbrella or consider offering one to your customers as a gift with purchase, always an attention getter.

This Beach Pockets umbrella, invented by Barbara Bigford has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal, featured on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, honored by Invent Now America, is lightweight and available in several colorful designs.

One piece of advice that I have is for you to sell, promote or gift with purchase the 7 foot canopy, so that the umbrella will protect two people sitting underneath from the harmful sunrays.

I bought my first beach pcokets umbrella this year and it is fabulous! The kids love filling the pockets with sand when we first arrive at the beach - one less job for mom to do! Lovely fabrics too!
