Make an IMPACT with the colors of fall
August 6, 2008

Hopefully, by now you are well on your way to getting your store set for fall.  No? Well, if inspiration is what you crave take a look....

Who would have thought lime green would work so well for an autumn display?  I love the way the oranges, reds, yellows, and greens work with this punchy wall color.  What makes this store front inviting?  The doors are open (when possible, this is really helps!) and the urns, filled with fall topiaries, are a wonderful seasonal welcome.  I can't imagine too many people resisting the urge to at least poke their head in.  But the allure doesn't stop there.  Below is a picture of the feature table which is full of fun, fall-themed decorative accessories.  These items make for great "pick-up" sales but also help in creating a wonderful visual display, bridging the gap between the front door and the rest of the store.

The colors are perfect for the upcoming season and, again, I just can't get over how the oranges "POP" against this green background.  The use of different fall florals works well to soften the edges of any display furniture pieces.  The florals also help with the psychological transition from summer to fall.

This is a Colonial Williamsburg Foundation owned store called WILLIAMSBURG Celebrations!  It is adjacent to the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg so the use of the antinque wheelbarrows as props is an effective way to tie this 21st century store to the neighboring historic area and the18th century message of Colonial Williamsburg.

Fresh, fun, attention-getting, eye-popping - and full of product for sale!!  What inspires you?
