Are You Plugged In? To Facebook?

Just last week, Ray Allegrezza, Editor-in-chief of Furniture/Today,  wrote a blog entitled, "Is Your Face On Facebook?" Here is an excerpt, "New and cost effective ways to reach that moving target we call the consumer. From a demographics standpoint, I found it interesting that our recent Casual Living/HGTV study found a whopping 66% of consumers of outdoor products are between the ages of 45 and 64. Specifically, our study determined that consumers aged 45-54 made up 36% of our customer base. Those between the ages of 55 and 64 accounted for another 30%, making it clear that we need to pay special attention to this segment of the population."
 
Ray also mentions that of all the social networks, Facebook is the favorite for 73% of Boomers.

It does take time to establish a presence on Facebook, to reach out to the people who are interested in outdoor living, and it takes time to stay connected. This is the time of the year that consumers are starting to think about warmer days, a hint of spring in the air, and time to start eating outdoors. Some people need to refresh, refurbish and renew their outdoor living spaces but they just might not know how to get started.

Joe Ruggiero Collection Facebook page is dedicated to sharing designing and manufacturing furniture and fabrics that are "kid friendly" to make every room a living room, especially the outdoor room.

Richard & Catherine Frinier both have facebook page, Richard is a leading and internationally-acclaimed designer of interior/exterior luxury leisure furnishings for ultraluxe resorts and resort-at-home living spaces.
