How To Use The Cold Snap to Plan for Spring

January 7, 2010

The recent cold snap across the United States encourages us to stay inside, bundle up and keep warm. While it is impossible to spend time in the outdoor living spaces, it is a perfect opportunity to plan for spring changes. It is always fun to add something new, change colors or redesign the space entirely. So take this time to create a plan to update and liven up your outdoor spaces.

Sometimes all it takes is a few additional colorful accent pieces like a throw blanket, throw pillow, drape or tabletop accessory. Some slight movement of furniture can create a completely new setting. Perhaps the addition of a few new pieces of outdoor furniture will be all you need to revitalize the outdoor room.

Regardless of which approach you select now is the best time to start thinking, planning and researching new colors, furniture, accessories and choices.

Your local retailer is a great source of information, Casual Living, the Voice of The Leisure Market Place and the internet are also sources. If you need more creative ideas or suggestions, just write a comment below and I will answer your questions.
